CARRION SHADE: The Death Winged Scavenger

Going into the death element world during this week splinterland challenge is something I never expected and also the main card picked this time is one of the cards I dont really make use of when I battle because I didnt really level it up, no special ability except flying and since it is a melee average monster card, it cant attack any other position except in sneak or melee attack rule, and using it as a frontline is just waste of card. I almost skipped this week challenge because I dont know where to place the cards but I just decided to try when i saw this particular rule Fog of war (No sneak or snipe ability allowed) combined with up close and personal (Only melee card can be use)

I just have to give in to the challenge when i saw this rule and I had to face @na-spl-127 in a 40 mana cap battle and we were allowed to pick from fire, life, death, dragon and earth. since it is only melee attack battle, i decided to choose dragon because of the extra melee attack and combine it with death element, I dont even know if this combo is a badass combo, well i dont know what the opponent have in stock for me. So i decided to set my formation using ability that will counter my opponent own since we will be using melee attackers all thorough. Watch out for my Formation

Djinn Chwala as my frontline, strong in attack and health with even shield and extra thorn ability, Always good in this position, I decided to back it up with Manticore since it can always attack from the second position because of the reach ability and also extra flying and thorn ability. In this battle the main card "Carrion Shade" isnt really useful but since it is just a mana cap card, i decided to slot it in this position incase. Then I make use of Cursed Windeku this is now one of the top use cards from the death element because of the thorn ability and it can also heal with good stats. Let say i have more thorns ability card, I would have used them. I decided to pick the demoralizers which are the Harklaw which also have extra immunity and shield to reduce attack and i used legionnaire Alvar as my backline and you know how strong this cards is.

It was really a stressless victory after I saw this cards, and the formation was well arranged because he couldnt touch my demoralizers and I still have 3 strong cards standing at the end of the battle. I know you will love to check it out
