  3. There are no communities from my country created. Mine are open for everyone interested in the topic. I don't find communities based on a certain group a great idea. It shuts out many Steemians and my experience is they are hostile against other users plus mainly reward their country fellows even if they post shit.

    I thought it was just me, but lately I've been having trouble keeping up with new content, as it only lets me see about 10 posts in the new posts section.

    I don't think you haven't seen spam, knowing that you're a user who frequently views content. I've seen it; some posts appear in leading communities hoping to get automated votes.

    Yes, you're right, communities should be free in terms of topic and nationality.

    Not being able to see more than a certain amount of posts I face since months if not years. I mentioned it once and have been told it's not true which made me believe it is my device or internet connection. In most cases if something doesn't work I tend to believe it's me and not Steemit.

    I rarely give automated votes and I mainly visit the communities with content and people I like. I do see recently some newcomers arrive and being active. There are a few I warned a few times (and gave a new chance if they posted 3 times without AI) and no longer post with me but in different communities. I ignore them since I consider it broken trust.

    Personally, I prefer communities with a topic also because there's no way to find topic related posts of one's interest and people with the same interest but communities shouldn't be about nationality but expression.
