Many years ago, I had a memorable encounter in a hotel. I noticed another guest who also took notice of me. We struck up a conversation and talked all night long, totally fascinated.
At some point, I noticed the constant trembling in my counterpart. He then told me that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's at the age of 33. Since then, he had been fighting the progression of the disease.
He had a big plan that he really wanted to realise: to plant 10,000 trees. He owned the land and at that time had already planted almost 4,000 trees.
That evening, he promised to plant a tree for me. I wished for a pine tree.
A few weeks later, I received a photo and corodinates of ‘my’ pine tree...
I don't know what happened to the man and his plan.
I was born and raised in a forestry enterprise. During my childhood, I planted many fir trees, but not a single pine.
Maybe you should look at your pine tree. 😊👍💪
