RE: A Large Painting To Exchange
The picture is one of the extremely great ones! And you hate it when people look at your art...? That seems like a complicated fate to me... ;-))

Thank you!
And yes, it’s quite a complicated fate! With art, and expressions of all types coming out of me, I always feel the need to hit and run. I think that I am absolutely terrified of rejection. Many in my generation did not embrace therapy when therapy might have helped. Imposter syndrome perhaps?
I have a blog called “The False Consensus Effect”, which you may already know is a cognitive bias in social psychology where one assumes that others think like him or her. The reality of this truth hit me hard over and over on the streets of my early sorrows where, even as a healthy child, I realized that, not only do people not think like me, but they can be quite nasty about it. Art is a fallback, a release of anxiety, though sometimes a strength too. A curse and a blessing. And the one true way for me to hit and run (and also hide) ad infinitum...
The introvert with a frayed paintbrush strikes again!
Art is a weapon, my friend! And it's the stronger and more unassailable one... I'll attach a picture by an Indian friend of mine that was created in the 2000s. Many women in India now have an audible voice, not least because of the attention such works attract, the debates they spark and the presence of the artists – who stand by their social power. They are important! You are important! And you know all that ;-))

Wow to the painting!
A favorite writer of mine from years back wrote, “If there is a genuine need, it will be met.” All month I’ve been low on and off by the drag of the the mundane such and such. It can get very gray and bleak this time of year, both outside and in. Yesterday I received a powerful fuel injection to lift me out of such a state. The genuine need, and it wasn’t what I thought I needed:) Your words come as a cherry on top to the good news. Art is a weapon! “And it’s the stronger and more unassailable one.” Hit and run, hide and seek, strong and meek... Hold onto the social power. I know this in my gut, but sometimes the gut grumbles.
Thank you!

@wakeupkitty
@weisser-rabe must be an Advocate personality, like you. Thank you!
Flattering ;-)) I wasn't familiar with this type of personality typology. I took the test and the tool sees me more as an architect. When I look at the descriptions, I find that I can relate to them better. Not a bad type of person either, I hope ;-))
Not bad at all, and rare! So they say:)
