Flights of the heart.....

in WORLD OF XPILAR7 days ago

When I went to my aunt’s house, I noticed how openly the sky could be seen from there. At my own home, it’s mostly covered, so I rarely get to see the sky in its full beauty. That day, we were sitting outside when I saw birds flying freely above us. For a few moments, I just kept watching them, lost in their effortless flight.
It suddenly took me back to my childhood.

Since I was little, I’ve always felt deeply connected to nature especially a sky filled with soft clouds and a glowing moon. I could stare at the moon for hours, feeling a strange kind of comfort. And birds…they always fascinated me. The way they fly without boundaries, without fear, without limits.
As a child, I didn’t just admire them I wished to be one of them. I used to imagine myself flying wherever my heart desired, exploring mountains, oceans, and cities, and returning home whenever I wanted. No responsibilities, no worries about the future, no overthinking just freedom, fresh air, and endless skies.
But as I grew older, my perspective slowly changed. I realized that every creation has its own purpose. If I was created as a human, then there must be strength within me to handle human struggles, emotions, and responsibilities. Birds have their freedom, but they also face storms. Humans have responsibilities, but we are blessed with thoughts, feelings, dreams, and the ability to grow.
Every life whether of a human, an animal, or a bird has its own kind of beauty and its own kind of peace. It’s natural to admire another life, to feel inspired by it, but it doesn’t mean our own life is lacking. In fact, there might be someone somewhere wishing for the comfort, safety, or opportunities that we have.
Maybe true peace isn’t in becoming something else maybe it’s in understanding and accepting who we are. And when we do that, even our own sky starts to feel wide and limitless.

What a relief to read your post.🌱
It makes me think about creatures and what they do, what makes them peaceful for us? And what are our responsibilities and theirs? Your words are one of them to bring peace.

It truly means a lot that my words made you feel that way...Peace often comes from understanding and connection I’m glad it reached you.

A year ago, we moved from the big city with all its noise, lights and dirt to the countryside: there are stars up there! On clear days, they are close together, like a glittering scarf...

That sounds so peaceful ✨
Leaving the city noise and seeing stars clearly must feel magical. The way you described them like a glittering scarf is truly beautiful.
