CAMELS OF THE NORTH

Hello to you,

I want to share a particularly thrilling experience with you. I really love adventure. I love to travel but due to some limitations, I have not been able to travel as much as I would have loved to.

However, recently, I was able to make a really long trip from the south of my country all the way to the north. Like it was literally an extreme to extreme journey. What made it even farther is that I had to move in a diagonal direction.

Anyway, enough with all the bearings and geography. I am a big fan of nature. Like, anything natural trips me so much. I see so much beauty in nature. The natural state of things seems to hold so much aesthetic. I usually claim that nothing invented by man is even close to attaining the kind of beauty that is embedded in nature.

So back to my long voyage. Back in the south, I am certain that over the decades that I spent there, I have never seen a camel. I only douse my curiosity about this animal from stories my parents used to give since they had some part of their lives in the north and the other details I got are from books, documentaries and movies.

I have always wondered how an animal could be so tall and huge. I don't know about elephants, but these ones really intrigue me. I was in for a real treat when I took this trip. I used a bus for the journey.

After going for about two days in the road without any warning, I sighted something that was way taller than the buses ahead and I noticed a human being sitting in it. Ohh my… it was a camel.

I have to confess, I was ecstatic. Wow. Finally, I got to see the life of a carmel. I could not stop staring. Somehow, it was like the naive infant who is just stepping into the world. This is kind of true though because prior to this time, I have never made a journey even a fraction as long as this one.

As our vehicle was speeding past, I was tempted to shout at the driver to go slow so I could stare for some time more. Well, I had to compose myself so I don't get to give off my ignorance and inexperience.

Thankfully, my destination has blessed me with lots of sights to feed my eyes. By the way, before getting to my destination, I had the pleasure of seeing some more camels. Some were even larger than the first one I had seen.

Now, I have seen so many almost on a daily basis because they are abundant here. I am still toying with the idea of getting on one someday soon.

For now, I will just chill and enjoy the view while nursing my wishes silently. If you had a chance to view my phone, you would be amazed by the number of camel pictures I have.

I won't bother you with too many sha. I believe the next post I will make about carmels will include me on top of one of these. For now, I would say you keep appreciating the wonders of nature.
