Hello great steemians.

I am delighted to be a part of this community and share a little of my activities with you.

From the point I had signed up on Steemit and found how amazing this platform was, I have gone on to recommend some close friends and associates to sign up as well. Many thanks to @utibeoeffiongart who has introduced this platform to me. It has been a really interesting experience.

I have always tried to assist the newcomers I introduce as well as those I meet here in any way possible. For those I recommend, I first help them sign up. We all know how some difficulties may arise especially with getting the verification codes.

Once they have signed up, I direct them on how to set up their account and how to proceed to interact. I always make it a point to suggest some progressive communities to them and @steemghana is usually among the first I mention.

Sadly, the newcomers community doesn't seem to be working for a long time now. But even at that, I still direct newcomers to some posts there that would guide them on how to be able to make quality posts and also learn some rules.

I usually love giving a kind of orientation to newcomers because of some of the questions they love asking. Some are usually worried about how to get upvotes.

To these, I just advise them to keep making quality and interesting posts that the votes will come ultimately. I ask them to concentrate on having more interaction and growing their reputation as these will make them more successful.

Some who ask about where to make posts, I advise them to make it in a functional community of interest and also be on the lookout for contests and other programs that are taking place. I just try to give them realistic answers taken from my months of experience here.

Some of my friends that I have recently introduced to the platform include @ennyedo and @edidiongjnr who have gotten started on their Steemit journey.

Whenever I come across a post by a newcomer, I make out time to curate it, give an upvote and also drop a review in the comment section which I believe would be helpful to the user.

Curating a newbie post and giving an upvote.

I equally try to ensure that new users understand the need to build their Steem power rather than being in a hurry to cash out their earnings. I relate the importance of not powering down to them but engaging in frequent power ups.

Guiding a newbie on powering up.

For already established Steemians, the ways I have worked together with them is basically about sharing information and updates I find useful. We also discuss difficult issues we face like in solving tasks in some communities. I also look out for errors in their posts and notify them accordingly.

I am interested in the growth of Steemit and encourage everyone to keep working to make this platform the best there is.

Great job by @oppongk, @nattybongo, @njaywan to keep this community booming. Well done.

It is always good to be Frank in our dealings with newbies, the mindset and the foundation with which they come is critical to their survival and long existence in the blockchain

Yeah @nattybongo

Some with wrong motives will not even be encouraged to make a second post if they are not able to cash out.
