Contest..Tell us about a steemian who has impacted your life

Hello guys, it's a pleasure to tell you guys how I got to know about steem and through how efforts that I have come to love this great community called steemit.

It all started few months after I was reposted to Nsutaman Catholic Senior High School. A colleague friend of mine know on steemit as @menak told me about the platform but I refused to give him a listening ear. He kept pushing me until he one day invited Godey known on the platform as @oppongk, the gentleman with me in the picture above.

It's quiet unfortunate that, I am failing to find @menak:s picture but not withstanding that, @oppongk came to give us a little information about steem that was last year. He then registered a colleague of mine but I was still not sure and convince by what I heard. I remember asking him, what do they do with the things we post and where is the rewards coming from?

I asked a lot of questions I cannot even remember some of them but the following day, he came again and I registered. I didn't know why he was so serious and persistent for us to join but his efforts and resources used to come from where he teaches to our school was awesome. He never asked us for anything in return and was constantly on me especially, teaching me the tricks, markdown and coaching me as to stay relevant on steem. He did same to my other colleagues.

Not forgetting @menak known in real life as Amofah, he also did a great job for me. He has my uncle's name so I refer to him as my uncle.

I do promo work with @oppongk, sometimes printing of t-shirts and flyers are done from his own pocket as well us other things we don't even request but he's always ready to assist you.

I visited him at his work place this week for my promo-steem t-shirt where we met later to do some promo work during a workshop program for teachers in the district in my school.

I will like to use this opportunity to thank these great individuals for their support and showing me a way of life but to leading me into a wrongful behavior.
