Mathematics Workshop For Teachers

New ways of teaching in our modern day and the inability of the Ghanaian student to solve simple concepts like geometry, probability and etc questions led to the training of mathematical and maths related teacher in Sekyere Central District.

Science, English and Mathematics possess lot of difficulties for students getting into their final exams and per the chief examiners reports released after every years results, shows that, majority of the students fails in either of the three subjects.

• It's always a cause for worry heading into the final part of third years. So this workshop was an opportunity for people to add up to their knowledge to be able to make meaning impart on their students.

This program was organized in collaboration with the district education office to enhance the capacity of it teachers. Mr. Antepem an award winning teacher at 2019 best teacher award for the whole Ghana led the delegation of teachers.

There practical way of teaching the subject for students to really understand. Getting to the ending of the program for the first day, the students were given the opportunity to put what they have learnt into practices.

They were able to solve this concepts with ease comparing their previous experiences with the new methods.

These are some of the things our students were able to make using different materials. Ladies who mostly are afraid of mathematics when you strike an average among one hundred ladies, you are more likely to have eighty percent of them disliking mathematics as well as some gents.

• It my hope and prayer that, the trainee teacher will demonstrate what we came to learn in our various schools. This is going to help solve the abysmal performances of students in the district.

There is high hopes for this year. We are aiming of securing good grade for our school and the district as well as the students.
