What would some of us our childhood be like without the Tom and Jerry animated series? No matter the mood you were in just sitting for a minute or two on this show was enough to get you giggling and laughing your heart out. To this very day, I find the show to be very amazing. The creativity behind each scene in every episode is over the roof and the scenes never feel repetitive. According to the Cartoon Network Wiki, >The original series is notable for having won the Academy Awards for Best Short Subject seven times, tying it with Walt Disney's Silly Symphonies as the most-awarded theatrical animated series. The series has also won more Oscars than any other animated series.

The Tom and Jerry series was created in 1940 by Joseph Barbera and William Hanna and launched on the 1st of April in 1950. A total of 15 Tom and Jerry movies have been made between the 1993 till date. On June 9th this year the 15th movie instalment titled "Tom and Jerry" was released and it made $132 million at the Box Office. I haven't watched that yet but I plan on downloading it very soon. If you haven't watched it, you should too. Below is an illustration of the legendary rivals that I have made.
