Chelsea is one of the most successful clubs in Europe and for the past decade it can be considered to be about the best five clubs in Europe. In the current transfer windows, majority of players who are in the game have rejected to sign contract with the club although the club showed interest in them and it is such a large club.

The blues in some rumors where expected to sign some major player's such us Raphinha, Dembele, Kounde but at this point in the transfer windows, nothing seems that there will be able to secure the signature of these players.

There are major reasons why some of these players have decided not to play for the blues and I believe and I believe few of them are;

Better clubs

Although Chelsea is among the best clubs currently in Europe, some players still believe they do not see that and for that matter they think there are better clubs than Chelsea. Some decided not to make a move because those clubs are better than Chelsea others to did because they had a more better choice than Chelsea's offer.

Taking Barcelona for example, players would prefer to stay here than moving to Chelsea. Although people might have their own set of decision base on this, it is however believed that the place they choose is better to them than where they deny. Barcelona might definitely win something at the end of the season hence players find it difficult to demand their offers.

Bad negotiations.

Some players did not decided because of that above reasons but just because of bad negotiation between the Chelsea football club and the Players agents and current club. The glacial negotiation did not help the club in any way however it has caused them more harm than good. The activities of some management staffs that are supposed to speed up work in some areas were very sluggish and that also resulted in Chelsea Lossing some players they were interested in.

In the case of Kounde, the Blues were having the upper hand the greater options on gaining the signature of the gentlemen from Sevilla but they were sluggish of which Barcelona came in to hijack the deal. The still mantain their indecisive decision until Barcelona finally secured his signature.

Inability to concentrate on a player

Looking at things from my perspective, it seems the club has no focus and that is one of the reasons why they lost most of the star player's they wanted to sign. The numerous attempt to bring in multiple players at the same time and the inconsistent in these deals is what lead to them not having even a signature of any player. This inconsistent made other teams to grab the players they were interested in.

Although Chelsea did not get most players they were interested in , they still managed to get few players who are now integral part of the team they will be building. These players include Koulibaly, Sterling and Cucurella.

Conclusion

This season is going to be a tough one and I was not expecting Chelsea to go through such a transfer window. However they window is yet to be closed so they might gain some players to join them making the season a great one.
