NO ACT IS TOO LITTLE TO HELP ANOTHER

Hello everyone,

By nature, human beings are good people. I know this because right from our infancy, we try to do what we can to help others in our society. And often have dreams about donations and giving to various charities in our communities.

But what we tend to think is that you can only give to society if you have made an enormous amount of wealth. But this is not true. Many people have much less than the average human being and are struggling to get something to eat, let alone have the time to think about where they will sleep.

The mellenium development goals that have been set aside to help fight poverty has not really been efficient. I say this because there are still countless others out there who are struggling to get a chance at life and be able to make it to nightfall. This is not something they had wanted but due to circumstances, they have to live that way.

As human beings living in the same vicinity as some of these less privileged people in our communities, can we just sit back and watch them struggle with these basic life needs? There must be something we can do for them.

This is why any small act of kindness should be encouraged in our neighbourhoods. What are some of these items you can give away;

• Used clothes you no longer wear.
• Some shoes that no longer fit you.
• Reading materials just sitting around.
• Furniture you no longer need.
• Any other item in good condition.

Trust me, whoever thinks of their brothers in their time of need, God richly blesses them and makes life a whole lot easier for them.

Also, when giving to charity, we must know that we are giving to our fellow human beings and as such, we must give something that is of value, not something that has lost all its value.
