I have seen many instances whereby many people fail to reach their peak or highest points simply because they stopped having faith in themselves. This sends them down to the wrong path as they don't even think they somehow stand a chance in the first place.
This is ability of giving up quite easily is something that needs to change promptly. People must be taught that the right way of facing failure is to try and beat it. This is because, there is no shame in trying at all.
The very successful people in life right now all had very low points in their lives at some point in time. They didn't go back crawling to their rooms afterwards. Read about the stories of great people like Elon Musk, Albert Einstein, Nikola Tesla, and so on. They learnt from their failures and made their dreams possible.
The average mind is used to staying in its comfort zone. So, the moment it fails to achieve something. It doesn't want to go through the extra stress of fighting hard to achieve success.
Admittedly, sitting back is a much more comfortable place than pushing to succeed. This is because, the journey to succeed comes with some serious challenges, adventures and at times, it can be the most traumatizing moments of your life.
But, it is important that we are open to these kind of adventures. They will set you up on the path to greatness and will make you much greater than you could ever become.
