HOW DO YOU PLAN ON PROMOTING STEEM IN YOUR COMMUNITY? By @ishayachris
Greetings to this wonderful community (@steemghana) and its friends and lovers around the world. Its a beautiful thing to relate with you once again on how I plan to promote steemit in my community. Before I share my plans with you, I do love to appreciate @njaywan and the entire community for the excellent effort in taking this platform to a greater height.
As steemians, we all know how this great platform have been impacting positively in our life's. Apart from giving us the privilege of making friends around the world, it has also impacted us with a lot of knowledge, both in our area of specialization and out of our field of studies. Through this platform, we have learned the culture, beliefs, and the norms of different people around the world. In addition to the knowledge we acquire of this platform, we are also paid for our services. To cut the story short, steemit has been a life changing platform to us all, as such, it is a duty on us all to promote this platform, and take it to a level beyond where it is today. We all have our plans on how to go about promoting the platform. Below are mine. Relax and read me through as i share my plans with you.
I'm in my first month on steemit, and so far, I have plans to start promoting this platform starting from July. Although I have recently been using my social media platforms to promote steemit through posting my links. Now I have several strategies that I plan to employ in promoting this platform all alone. I will be doing this alone because, so far i don't have anyone that I can partner with in promoting the platform. Below are the list of the strategies.
considering the fact that I'm currently teaching in secondary school, i have a lot of smart and intelligent students that if this platform is introduced to them, they will be able to make an impact in the platform, and also gain a lot of knowledge. Some of the students have smart phones that will enable them perform well on this platform. My plan now is to introduce this platform to them by holding a class with them during break hour for at least two days. In the lesson, I will teach them how this platform works, what they stand to gain, and how they can make post, votes, and comment on other articles.
secondly, considering my position as a corp member who is currently serving, I have met a lot of graduate's who are talented in content writing. Most of them have the ambition to showcase their talent, and in returned get rewarded but, they are ignorance of a platform like steemit. My plans for them is to introduce this platform to them by bringing the topic of steemit into our discussions. If I'm able to tell them what I have benefited from this platform, surely, they will love to join.
- Thirdly, I have family members who are always busy wasting their data on other social media platforms that are not rewarding them in anyway. I believe they are into such platforms because, they are not aware of steemit. I have plans to have a discussion with such people, so that I can introduce them to this platform.
- another way I plan to promote steemit is by customizing things like t-shirts, and hand bands with steemit logos on them. As I make use of the customized t-shirts and hand bands, people will surely be interested in knowing about the brand's. With that, I will be able to take the opportunity and introduce them to the platform.
- in addition to the above strategies, I have other social media application that I always use to chat with friends. I Plan to always post my links on such platforms for my friends to see. I believe with time, they will be asking me about the platform, and once they ask, I will be able to share it with them.
In conclusion, steemit deserve to be promoted. It has helped us a lot and it is still changing our life's positively. If we love our friends, family members, and our students, let's us introduce them to this platform so that they can also enjoy the benefits we are enjoying today.

These are some great ideas you have presented here friend. I like the idea of promoting to your secondary school students, the use of T-shirts and other social media for promoting. They are quite excellent strategies.
