Be Ready for Opportunities

The popular saying that opportunity comes once, couldn't have been truer, the big question though is whether we are ready to receive the opportunity when it finally lands on our laps. It is more hurtful to miss an opportunity because you weren't prepared than to lose it. After all, perhaps others had better qualifications or were more competitive than you are.

At least you were ready for it, you gave it the good fight and things couldn't go your way. You live with no regrets, you learn from the experience and you are even more prepared for the ones that may be ahead of you. Many people live life waiting for the opportunity to come before they rush to get things done or sorted for themselves. Through the hastiness, lots of mistakes are made.

We come up with very poor work or presentation for the opportunity and when we have to compete with others we don't even stand a fighting chance because we only tried to put one or two things together at the last moment to get things done. We must be prepared for life and for every single opportunity that could come our way.

Well, it is not very plausible that we could be ready for every single one of them that may come our way through, however, we can prepare for the majority of them because we know the things we are looking for in life and what we hope to achieve, the path we have chosen the opportunities that may come with it. And so be ready, be prepared for life, don't miss out, because that change you have been yearning for, may just be knocking on your door tomorrow.
