The Diary Game: 08/01/2022 - Relocating to my campus accomodation to start my research assistantship at the Department of optometry and Visual Science, KNUST

Dear Diary,

For the past 3 months national service started for us as recent graduates for the year 2021 and for my mates who went to the clinic for their service they started working already however as i happen to be posted to the department to work as a teaching and research assistant we had some free time to rest before work starts.

Today was the official reopening day for the freshmen coming to the university and as such it was pertinent that i sorted out myself and prepared accordingly to face the upcoming semester and academic year. So i relocated to a place i secured during the previous weeks within the campus vicinity so as to help make the work load less stressful and easier to carry out.

So today i went there with my Dad and a friend from the house to help prepare the place for my stay as work will been massively come this Monday the 10th of January, 2022. First we painted the place which took as quite a long time to finish because some patching had to be done on the wall.

Next was setting up my portable wardrobe which i bought today on our way to the place, it cost approximately 130 steem. We also bought a ceiling fan from Melcom in addition to some few other ware and house stuff. In all about 400 steem was spent on preparing the place today. The wardrobe setting was initially a bit confusing for us but we soon got the hang of it.

As dusk approached we were able to finish with the work load after which we cleaned the place, mobbed and sorted out some few stuff. After which we were ready to leave, we got home later in the evening after which my mum treated me to a good supper for the evening.
