Promo Steem : Meetup, Successful Recruitment Of New Members & Guiding Them To Write Achievement Task 1

At 1 pm which is break time for the school, we took off with @bigssam car to the Nsutaman. It was joy to meet members waiting for us. Note; our great steemians who joined this program: @bigssam, @menak, @fortune182, @sarkodieeric1, @delakloe, @kubati & @thegreatowusu were present.

We began by taking these new users through how Stwemit blockchain works and again differs far from other social media. They responded quickly after the talk that if we have such good platform that they can connect with others while still earning some tokens, they will join.

It was time for us to sign three (3) who were by then less busy and not having lesson at that time. @delakloe, @bigssam and I were guiding them to sign up successfully were collected their details of particulars like, "username they prefer to be known in steemit, their Gmail accounts and mobile phone number. Since sign up on steem is now instant and free, we did waste much time on this. Instantly, these people were signed up successfully:

We then found pieces of cardboard to boldly write their usernames, date and I ♥️ Steemit on them as we use to do for every Newcomer who introduce himself or herself. We allowed them to take pictures as evidence for Steemit Team to see their faces.

Further time was taken to teach them how to blog for first time and how to write achievement posts. I was assisted by @bigssam, @delakloe, @menak, @sarkodieeric1 and @fortune182. We guided them to write their first achievement task as designed by @cryptokannon and her team members in Newcomers Community.

We gave our finals remarks on steem, by encouraging them and instilling in their mind that steemit is patience, consistency and effort base. Not all the time that they would receive good upvotes, since upvotes are gift. But, their success would depend on the great effort they will push through steem platform.

We took few questions from them. Though some tutors were interested for us to sign them up, since they were having lessons, we could not meet them. But, we will schedule time to come and recruit them later.

It is my pleasure to thank @bigssam for given 1.5gig of MTN data Sims for the three (3) Newcomers we signed up for free. They were very happy to get this data Sim to begin posting in steem block chain.

Due to a lot of mistakes we encounter from Newcomers on their journey in Steem, we will love to guide these Newcomers having being signed up to commence work till they become use to things here.
