Campaign Trail...

It so happened that the Ghana Medical and Dental Council Board has been dissolved and a new board needed to be reconstituted..

Elections will thus be held on the 11th of June to select these new board members and I was fortunate to be the Ashanti Regional Campaign Manager for Madam Rebecca Bantey .I have since been moving from Hospital to hospital campaigning for my candidate and I’m sure it will interest you to know the various places that I have been to and how we are making out

Find below my activities for Tuesday ,10th June 2021

First Stop Was Bekwai Hospital

We interacted with the Physician Assistants (PA)and the Certified Registered Anaesthetist here and in this shot was one of the Physician Assistants

We Proceeded to our second stop :Kokofu Government hospital

We interacted with the staff and went on to visit PAs at the Kokofu Leprosarium

Great Moment it was !

Lunch time it was ,and we took time to refresh ourselves ....

Post-Lunch we started again by visiting the Kwame Nkrumah Univerity of Science and Technology Hospital
We met with hat manager and then spoke to a few staff of our interest and then moved to the next station..

This is Ejisu Government hospital
Here only 2 PAs were on duty
Few PAs will always be on duty in the afternoon as the workload reduces by the day .....

Juaben Government Hospital
It was almost getting late when we got here
So we planned to visit one more hospital before we retire to bed

EFFIDUASI GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL
That was our last facility for the day
The campaign went so well for the day
We met 80% of our targets and off we drove to Agogo where we planned to begin our campaign the next day
We lodged at the popular hotel of Ghana’s high life icon Amakye Dede ~Abrante3 Hotel
Very beautiful and serene environment it was and especially for us who have had a stressful day
