THE IMPACT OF STEEMIT ON MY LIFE

Steemit has different impact on different people’s lives, some are in the form of finance which has been the dominating impact on most steemians lives, some emotional impact, some intellectual improvement and others academics.

Some of the most impact that steemit has on my life since I joined are;

• ACADEMICS; No one can deny the fact that steemit has not had any positive effect on his or her academics irrespective of the person being a student or not, steemit will find a way of putting some kind of knowledge in you. For instance, if a contest is hosted and the topic is about force and energy and a person does not know much about these topics, because of the reward pool that is attached to that contest, one will be compelled to do a research on it in order to be able to write a quality blog on the said topic and by doing so, that person has learned about force and energy which is an academic improvement.

Personally, steemit has played a role in my academics because I do researches which will aid me to write quality blogs and most of the blogs that I have done research on them, have been able to understand them and keep them which I can be able to produce at any where when they are asked of and it is because I have learned about them through steemit.

I have also acquired some knowledge from others through reading their blogs on the steemit platform most especially about science, technology and computing.

I can not also forget to add that steemit has also helped me to improve on my typing skills with the computer since most of blogs are written through typing them with the computer and this is a great improvement for me and I am happy for such improvement since am a computer science student and typing is one of the required ability or expectation of me which I will forever be thankful to steemit.

It has also helped me develop or build on my writing skills. With the help of my being on steemit, I have been able to build on how to write good articles and also how to improve on my grammar knowing when and how to use some words and sentences.

• FINANCE; Most of us has joined steemit in order to earn some amount of money through it, well that was my primary reason for joining steemit, but I got to know that steemit goes beyond just earning money from it after spending some time in learning about it.

I have not earned so much from steemit yet and the little that I have earned, I have used them to power up in order to increase my accounts value which shows that I have learned how to invest with the little I have for future gains since I have also bought some amount of steem with my own money in order to power up.

Aside saving and learning how to invest, I don’t think it has any other financial impact on me since I have not yet made any withdrawal from my steemit wallet to do anything. Am hoping to do some withdrawals by the end of the year if my steem power reaches 500 before the end of the year.

• INTELLECTUAL; Steemit has helped me increase on my thinking capabilities, whenever am writing a blog on a particular subject, am always compelled to outside the box, think about how I can present my blog so that it will be meaningful and catch the attention of the reader, what and what should I put in the content, what type of facts should be in my content so that it will be beneficial to my reader and all this makes me do a lot of thinking which has helped increase my thinking capacity.

With the above points made, I think I will forever hold in high esteem these things that I have gained from steemit even though they have not been gained physically.
