THE ADOPTED CHILDREN
Once there live a certain old man by name by name Egya Mienzah, in his entire life he never got married but use to adopt children and stay with them. These adopted children are his family so he care for them than any other thing he would get in his life to the extent of fighting with people who trouble these kids.
One day, Egya Mienzah taught of testing that if that these children he holds in high esteem likes him like he did to them. So he therefore told them that he would leave the place in a day after but doesn't know when to return. Kofi (the older kid) asked, “so what if you don’t return” Egya Mienzah responded, “I don’t know though but will surely return”.
Egya Mienzah is a wealthy and rich-man, so those parent who gave him their kids have one motive they that would succeed his belongings when he dies or leave but there is Tane, who is staying with him because he like his personality, so he was the only person in pain when Egya Mienzah asked that he will be leaving.
Egya Mienzah left in the early morning in the next t day, two weeks after. Kofi, Eben and Yaw started using Egya mienzah’s wealth, telling people that the belongings are their. Tane who likes Egya Mienzah always tells them that he will surely return but they never listened.
Egya Mienzah who wanted to test these kids did not travel but was hiding in the community trying to monitor what these kids would do to his belongings. He was having a cubicle packed with money and no one has keys to that cubicle. The kids planned to break into the cubicle, take the money and run away with it. All these while Tane was waiting for Egya Mienzah’s return.
On the due day that they planned to break into the cubicle, someone came to tell them that Egya Mienzah would return in the coming week, but they never gave in their plans and even planned to execute it and wrap everything up before he comes.
In the next day, they broke into the cubicle. On packing the money, Egya Mienzah returned. He told them his plans and what they have done. He immediately sacked them and made Tane the successor to his property and wealth.
MORAL LESSON
This tells us to be patient and have good intention all TIME and also avoid greedy attitude.
This story reminds me of the lesson that teaches us to never take anything that belongs to someone because we would not want that to be done to us too. I enjoyed reading your story.
