Contest | How Steemit has Improved My Life as an Individual

Hello Steem Ghana!! Hope you alla re doing great. I am happy to be given the opportunity to join this contest. I have had so much experiences since I joined steemit. All of them have been good and I am happy to share with you all.

I have been on steemit for 5 months now and I have never regretted joining. I have learned so much from my stay here and I very certain that I won't leave anytime soon. Here's why...

Steemit has taught me patience and consistency. Truth be told, most newbies drop out after they don't see much rewards being given to them. But somehow I never backed out. I kept posting and posting and following rules and today I am where I am. If I hadn't been patient and consistent, maybe I would have dropped out too. So that's an added advantage in my life because now I am more patient and consistent in every other aspect of my life.

Before now I had nothing doing. Like if it isn't school, I would just sit home. There were limited things I could do on the extra. I needed to earn. So one time I took a debt and time came that I had to pay back. I sold some steem to another steemian. Yes it dropped my club status to club75 but at least I could pay out my debt.

Before I used to read alot. But all of a sudden a dropped the habit. Coming into steemit helped me cultivate that habit again. You can't survive on steemit without reading right? Especially when content is so good. So when I came into steemit, I started reading more and for more extended periods.

Getting to steemit, I have learned how to interact with people I have never met. Being here I have made friends that have helped me. That's a big impact on my life.

For me the most important thing steemit has given me is the chance to learn how to trade and other things about the crypto market from the Steemit Crypto Academy. Aside from the fact that rewards there are high, the knowledge we gain is plenty. As in we are taught valuable things for free. I personally have started trading demo and practicing. I don't think I would have ever developed an interest in crypto trading if I didn't join steemit.

It's been a good 5 months and it is going to be a wonderful lifetime on steemit. We continue to steem on no matter what. Steemit for life!.
