The Diary Game||Attending Naming Ceremony And Going Back To School

in Steem Ghana2 years ago (edited)

After our 3-months long break, I decided to go back to school yesterday. I know, this is early, but there are things I need to handle on campus. My UDS Navrongo fam boys probably already have theories in their heads but lol, it’s not what yall are thinking😂.

Before I leave for school, I go to say goodbye to my dad first. So I headed to his place and he sent me to go represent him at a naming ceremony first. I went there and spent like 30 minutes there.

Then after I left there, I went back home to prepare to go shopping for food stuff and other supplies I’ll need for school. Well actually, I only went to ask their prices so I can budget for them and buy them once I get to Navrongo. Buying them here will cost me a good amount of charge to send them to Navrongo so I’m cutting down on cost.

I boarded a taxi to leave Savelugu to Tamale to pick a car. The Savelugu-Tamale journey is only a one hour journey so we got to Tamale pretty fast.

I stopped at the Navrongo station on the way to drop off my luggage and proceed to Tamale market to meet my aunty.

I bought a few things in the market and took a tricycle back to Navrongo station to finally board my car to Navrongo.

We were about 3 passengers, short on 3 passengers for a full car at the time and had to wait for more passengers before the car was full.

Waiting for more passengers to join so we can leave

I had waakye(rice and beans) while I waited and lucky for me, by the time I finished my food, we got just the exact number of passengers to leave so we set out.

The journey was a 3-hour journey so was pretty tiresome. We left Tamale around 5pm and got to Navrongo around 8pm. By this time I was pretty tired and couldn’t bring myself to write this post.

I wish myself and all students to report to campus next week or later a fruitful semester.
