Steem Women Club Engagement Contest2 I "A Holiday Plan at My Father's Hometown"

Another exciting day for us steemians for this new fascinating contest, specially for us who really want to have our best plans of travelling whether spend with family or friends.

As for me, when school vacation begins, I would really wanted to visit my father's hometown together with my whole family. It has been three years since we are not able to visit there due to covid19 virus. We have not also gone to our old house, we were just informed by our relatives how it was affected to the typhoon last December.

It is good that my whole family got vaccinated already, travelling now is not that difficult unlike those past days. We Filipinos are very known to have this close family ties and we love visiting and catching up with our relatives. Aside from that, we also love celebration, we used to call it "fiesta" where most of my relatives who also live from other places really go home.

Going to Bohol, the place where we planned to spend our holiday, will take us three to four hours sea travel, we have to board on the ship, then a small boat because my father's place is an island but it is not really hot due to lots of trees planted there, specifically coconuts.

In our last visit, that was 2018, my children really love going to the beach as it is very near to where we stayed. They really like the clean sand and clear water that every morning, during our visit, swimming at the beach was our first routine.

One of the teachings, I taught to my children is to always pay respect to elders, value our relatives and visiting them is one way of showing it.

That is why this coming June, when classes end, I really intend to bring my family and visit my father's hometown.
