Hello ladies!
I hope everyone is fine. I am back with another simple yet tasty recipe. When there's rainy weather, and a cold winter evening. Everyone loves to have a cup of tea with garma garam pakoray. To make these even more tasty crunchy and crispy , I will be sharing some tips with you all. so let's make pakoray
First of the the ingredients that you need are as follows:
- gram flour 1 cup
- potatoes 1/2 kg
- Spinach (a handful)
- Onion 2 medium size
- Lemon 1
- Green chili 3 Pcs
In spices
- Chilli flakes 1/2 tspn
- Red pepper 1/4 tspn
- Dried coriander 1/4 tspn
- Turmeric 1/4 tspn
- Salt
- Chaat masala
- Qasoori methi (optional)
Preparation
- First slice the potato and cut them finely like fries.
- Add the gram flour, spinach, onions, green chillies and all the spices. Do add a lemon and Chaat masala, these two are the actual taste makers.
- Now add water as required just to make a thick pasty batter. Do not add too much basin and water, if you want to make crispy pakora.
- The next and final step is to heat the oil in a pan, and add the batter in the hot oil with the help of a spoon. Fry them on medium to low flame for few minutes untill golden brown and cooked.
- Here below it's ready for to be dish out.
- And here is the final fritters ready to be served with tomato ketchup or you can also use yogurt chatni.
