What do you do to improve yourself as a woman by @beewrites
Hello @steemwomensclub, this is an entry to the contest by @event-horizon on "What to do to improve yourself". This is really an interesting contest because it generalizes my everyday lifestyle.
My self improvement is summarized into my spirituality, mentality, physical fitness and also my grooming.
✓ Spiritually
My Spiritual health is the most important concern of my life. It is one aspect of myself I consciously work on everyday. As a Christian, I do ensure my Spiritual life is given maximum health and attention. These are what I engage in
•Praying
I pray everyday, it has stopped being a routine, it is now a lifestyle
•Studying God's word
I study God's word daily using my devotional
It is a daily devotional that gives you a reading plan for the day. Everyday comes with new teaching and prayers
•Reading spiritual Books
I am super mindful of the kind of books I read, because your mind is formed by what you let into it. I read books that are in correspondence with God's word
✓ Mental Health
My mental health is another aspect of my self improvement that I cannot sideline, it is very important I improve my mental health to reduce or eliminate my constant mood swings and meltdowns. So to improve on this aspect,I do these things
•Travelling
Although, travelling is not my hobby, but it really helps me improve my mentality. I meet new people, get Introduced into new cultures, new behavioural patterns, new places. This goes a long way in widening my horizon of knowledge about things and hereby improving my mental capacity
•Writing
I recently found out that another way I get mentality balance is by writing. It helps me really express myself and make more researches
•Reading
I read books on business, relationship, history, finance and lifestyle. This in no small way has helped my mental improvement
•Sleeping
Stress is one major cause of mental health issue or breakdown. So, I ensure I have quality sleep everyday and also take breaks in between hectic works
✓ Physical Grooming
•Concerning my personal hygiene, it is not a new thing to say I bath more than ones daily
•I also use water based product since I have an oily skin already and using oil based product will increase the oil content of my skin.
•I use light scented perfumes, deodorants and soaps, since harsh perfumes seems to chocking and everywhere.
•I do my laundry myself. Twice weekly
✓ Physical Fitness
•I am not that into vigirous excercise.
I prefer long walk, I cover more than 3000 steps daily, I also do squats.
• I consider sleeping as an important Physical Fitness technique
•I limit my soda, sugar and caffeine intake. I don't smoke nor take alcohol
•I ensure of taking fruits and nuts everyday and also plenty of water.
Thank you for reading through.

I can relate with your post @beewrites. Reading, writing and travelling has a way of making one reflect on their lives. Writing especially has been a source of outlet for me and I don't joke with it.
I found that I converse more of my mental energy when I write than when I speak. It works for me
