Valentine's Day with myself doing painting

Happy Chinese Valentine's day everyone.
Today is the last day of Chineses New Year which is also the Chineses Valentine's day
Despite not having a partner, I have decided to spend my Valentine's Day doing something relaxing and meaningful.
We all also must not forget to love ourselves from time to time. This is because only when you love yourself you will have the energy and the power to love people beside you.

Only with a good mood and happy heart , we can spread positivity.
So I have decided to spend my day relax and do some stress free painting.
Even tho i am not a very good painter but I enjoy painting

Unlike my normal routine, I decided not to do any research but just to pain whatever come in my mind.
Just to let the emotions flow and see how the painting turn out.
I started with pink and purple , and thinking to paint a sunset.

However half way through, I have change my mind because I wasn't able to visualise what come under the sky.
While thinking how to continue, I went on to make myself some flower tea.
It's a relaxation tea in a very nice tea pot set I brought from Tao Bao

In the end I decided to just paint with different colour and experience with something I usually dont do - abstract paint.
I just paint with whatever colour i cam across and trying to fill the whole canvas. This is a draft when i finished. I was very happy with the colour matching but in terms of the prominence and message it was a bit blur.I left the paint aside and let it dry

One thing about painting I like is it helps to train your patient. I enjoy my tea while I wait till the paint is completely dry. After that I use black and white to make the border more obvious and also add some characteristic to it .

And here is the end result. I think it looks good with my Chrismas deco.
Its not a perfect painting but for me its a perfect day.
