Greetings all, I am @novaamalia and this is my first post in the SteemWomen Club community, I am a government employee who has a hobby of Photography and also discusses Blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and NFT. I want to join this community to share information with all of my friends and also as a suitable place for me to express myself to other women.
Women in NFTs
Blockchain, cryptocurrencies, Defi, NFT, and several related technologies in it are still mostly dominated by men in the process, and also their involvement because much of what we know today masculinity affects the technology world. I don't believed that women are not involved in the world of technology, many CEOs and influential people in the Blockchain world are led by women, and a lot of information on social media also mentions that women also have good prospects to enter the digital world.
The rise of NFT in the last few years has made artists and art activists have started to dive in and make their digital artworks to be known by the public, especially in the Blockchain world, and many women have become NFT artists who have managed to earn a lot of income from the sale of these digital works.
In this post, I will share some successful female Artists in the NFT world who have been verified on the leading NFT Marketplace.
Maliha Abidi
Maliha Abidi is a Pakistani-American who has been involved in art and illustration for more than nine years and has worked with big companies such as Adobe, Google, UN, and others. She is one of the NFT Female artists who is dedicated to influencing the world by sharing positive content and art, especially with women. The artist behind the name Women Rise is the name of her NFT account who is currently requesting more than 10k items on the OpenSea Marketplace, besides that she is also active in donating royalties from every work created to support women's activities, women's justice, education, mental issues, and also Equality.
