SEC S10W6: Steemit, work or support?

Hello everyone, how are you doing, I welcome you again to my blog in the Comunidad Latina.

Today, we will discuss an interesting topic on the platform which will be tiled: Steemit, work or support?

  • Do you think we should consider Steemit a main job or a way to generate extra resources? Explain your answer.

First of all, steemit is a social media platform where people interact and earn additional income, it's not in the nature of the platform for it to be considered a full-time job, the platform requires much less of our daily time for it to be considered as a full-time job.

Although on some occasions, steemit has been a major source of income for individuals, allowing them to devote substantial time and effort to content development and participation. These sorts of people may consider Steemit to be a full-time career, using its potential benefits and creating a sustainable income for themselves, as these are the ones who are being assigned special full-time tasks on the platform, but if you are just an active user without a special task, its not necessary to consider it a full-time job.

So therefore, many users see Steemit as an additional source of income, an opportunity to earn more income in addition to their main job, This enables users to take advantage of the platform's potential without totally relying on it for financial help. steemit allows you as an individual to diversify your revenue streams while also exploring other creative opportunities for financial development.

  • What is your main economic activity and/or what other jobs do you complement steemit with?

As it stands at the moment, I don't have any other source of income, I am fully earning my passive income from steemit and some other freelance jobs which don't often come around as such.

I am currently a student at the university studying engineering, and this comes with a full-time dedication, so therefore, I am still fully focused on my studies, and I'm in some learning phases with other professional online courses, so in this case, my financial dependent comes from my parents and I do sort some things out as well with the extra I earn from blogging on steemit.

  • What would you do if STEEM fell to $0.00001?

STEEM is like any other cryptocurrency, it is not immune to market moves and we shouldn't be surprised that this could happen, but I pray we never see such, although it is hard to estimate the future worth with confidence, considering some extreme situations.

But, In the extremely rare case that STEEM saw a dramatic decrease, and it hit $0.00001, I would need to rethink my plans and consider the idea of development and do other things to benefit me as a whole, and also I would need to consider diversification into other cryptocurrencies projects or explore other alternative sources of income.

  • What would you do if STEEM reached $10?

And on the contrary, If STEEM were to hit $10, this means there has been a significant gain in the value of the cryptocurrency market as a whole, and this means I would be able to enjoy and have a big return on the investment of holding my STEEM.

And this would also mean that the curation return on steemit would have been high, this would definitely bring a great improvement to the value of steem and this means many platforms will want to develop around STEEM and I would be lucky to have been there and count myself as one of the dedicated users who saw STEEM through thick and thin and never gave up.

  • What do you use the resources you get with Steemit today?

The current resources I get from steemit are what I use to keep up most times, as said earlier, I am currently a student, and it's hard to have a job and still be a student, so most of my pocket money income comes from steemit, the little I get from the platform is what I use in purchasing some materials and sometimes use the resources to sort bills.

And also, my current STEEM resources are mostly delegated to support other users on the platform, in this case, I get to earn delegation rewards and increase my chance of adding more SP to my existing power, and that's called capitalism.

Conclusion

The question of whether Steemit should be regarded as a full-time job or a side hustle is personal and based on individual circumstances. Steemit allows people to set their own path by providing options for both full-time involvement and a half-time system.

If you wish, you could be a dedicated user who chooses to do many tasks on the platform such as moderating or country reps and if wished, you could be an ordinary user who just came to interact on the platform, and it is a win-win case for both paries as well as both has its benefits.

Certainly, the opinion will vary, in my case I consider it an extra source of income since you are not totally sure of the benefits, sometimes they come and sometimes they don't, but what is true is that it has been helpful for many . I also pray that the steem does not go down again hehe, on the contrary, that it begins to rise. 😊

We both hope for the same thing 🙏, the increase in value of Steem will be a better value to the ecosystem at large and we pray to see that happened.

Thanks for the review my friend.

Like you, I don't think the price of Steem can ever go that low like 0.00001. Because it is a running and big project so there are many big investors as well as many more . Because of which I think the steem price is not really possible to come down that much.
