^{Catedral San Ildefonso vista desde la Plaza Grande}

Cuando estuve en el centro de Mérida, Yucatán decidí ir a un punto muy importante de la ciudad y conocer varios lugares turísticos que existen ahí como la Casa de Montejo, La Plaza Grande, en primer lugar fui a conocer la famosa Catedral de San Ildefonso construida con pierdas de lugares sagrados mayas.

When I was in downtown Merida, Yucatan I decided to go to a very important point of the city and visit several tourist sites that exist there such as the Casa de Montejo, La Plaza Grande, first I went to see the famous Cathedral of San Ildefonso built with stones from sacred Mayan sites.

Desde mis ojos es una catedral muy imponente, es una catedral muy antigua y bella, tiene mucha historia para nuestro México. Diariamente van turistas de todo México y del mundo a conocer esta bonito lugar, la catedral se ubica enfrente de la Plaza Grande de Mérida.

From my eyes it is a very imposing cathedral, it is a very old and beautiful cathedral, it has a lot of history for our Mexico. Tourists from all over Mexico and the world come daily to visit this beautiful place, the cathedral is located in front of the Plaza Grande in Merida.

Vas a reconocer rápido el lugar porque la catedral sobresale con su estructura imponente, me llama la atención lo antigua que es la catedral, sus torres y campanas, tristemente no logré conocer la catedral desde su interior pero me quedo con una gran impresión de este hermoso lugar. Mérida, me regaló muchas experiencias bonitas de vida.

You will quickly recognize the place because the cathedral stands out with its imposing structure, I am struck by how old the cathedral is, its towers and bells, sadly I did not get to know the cathedral from the inside but I am left with a great impression of this beautiful place. Merida gave me many beautiful life experiences.

Salí en la noche a tomar más fotografías de la catedral y la iluminación que ponen a las estructuras turísticas como esta es impresionante. La catedral de San Ildefonso se fundó en 1562 es la primera de América Continental y la más antigua de México.

I went out at night to take more pictures of the cathedral and the lighting they put on tourist structures like this is impressive. The San Ildefonso Cathedral was founded in 1562 and is the first cathedral in Continental America and the oldest in Mexico.
