STEEMIT CHALLENGE SEASON 29 WEEK 3 | CREATIVE INSECT MACRO VIDEOGRAPHY
Assalamu Alaikum, I hope everyone is doing well. I am also very well. Today I am going to join a contest "STEEMIT CHALLENGE SEASON 29 WEEK 3 | CREATIVE INSECT MACRO VIDEOGRAPHY". I am going to present some photos and videos of caterpillars. These are frequently seen in the rural areas of our Bangladesh. Although it is currently winter, so they aren't seen much at this time; however, they are quite visible during the rainy season.
Caterpillars come in various types. There are some caterpillars that differ in color and vary in size, being both large and small. It generally looks scary. On the other hand, if you look at it from a different perspective, it is truly beautiful. But in our eyes, it is frightening—meaning, seeing it makes your skin crawl. In simple words, it feels scary just to look at it. Especially I, for one, am very afraid of them. These are often seen in our village. If a caterpillar touches the body, the area it touched swells up and turns red. Additionally, that spot itches a lot.
Everyone is afraid of caterpillars because of these frightening reasons. They are most commonly seen on mango trees. They make a sort of nest on the leaves of the mango tree. I don't know for sure, but it looks like their nests are made with the hairs that are on their bodies. I am not entirely certain about this, but that is what it looks like. They stay there, and as far as I think, they also have their babies there. Sometimes, when these fall on the body while under a mango tree, it feels very scary.
Therefore, during the time when they are seen the most, many people are afraid to go under mango trees. Sometimes, if one accidentally touches it, it feels so terrifying. Fine, tiny hairs stand up on its body. Again, sometimes if I touch something else that feels like it, I feel as though I have touched a caterpillar, and then I feel even more afraid.
I would like to invite,
