If you were a girl I would say 'you are a doll' (this is a compliment) but since you are a boy.. (let's not discriminate, you are a doll too 😘).

Is it always anxious we are talking about or fear, angst, being nervous, not liking to do something? It's not the same to me.

I don't see any problem if it comes to refusing to talk in public. It's what we learn from primary school on, not my hobby either. I would if standing on a fire stack, or on the streets but not for people too bored to listen, complaining, fiddling with phones. A bunch of creative people, artists or idiots, is fine too.

The problem is people eat energy and whatever they send can be felt. Since there are plenty of extroverts who love the attention let them do the job.

Just like you I believe a certain level of fear (feelings) is needed to live life at it fullest. It doesn't make life easier and we need to kick our own arse if no one else is doing it or forces us but it is as it is if necessary.

All you need is courage and that's what this all is about. Courage is shown by those who can't but still do it not by those who dare under all circumstances.
