Hello, friends! Let's talk about December...

🎄 Was the month of November as you expected?

The month of November remains one of the best months in the calendar year. This is my birth month and a remarkable one for that matter. The 3rd day of November every year represents a time I celebrate myself no matter how little. This year's celebration was tactically done with my university coursemates virtually. Topup mobile credits were distributed to the first number of persons who sent their best wishes.

November has its way of telling me to be happy. It does not matter the level of negativity that may be associated with the month, what I rather observe is the best of the month. For me, it comes with uniqueness and greater expectations. For some, they call it a month of the 11th hour. This represents the expectations required to be seen in the month.

🎄 Is December a month that makes you feel nostalgic, happy, or a combination of both?

December in my place is a time of great pleasure. Christians, already see the month as one that requires to be celebrated with so much love. A time to show love to one another in commemoration of the birth of our Lord's Saviour (Jesus Christ). On this path l, it brings a lot of happiness and feeling that exhumes love.

On the other hand, we see many traveling back home for this break, especially the Christmas and New Year break. This also should require a commensurate amount of funds to be expended as required. For those that have it, it is the multiplication of their happiness index, and for the less, this is where the nostalgic feeling creeps in.

At some time, I had always felt a combination of both, however, it is good to always tilt towards the happy feelings. This also makes us better and predisposes us towards having all the fun moments that come with the yuletide.

🎄 Are there dates in this month that are special to you?

YES, we have dates that are special in the month. In fact, in parts of the country, all the dates are important. They have set up the Christmas village, which is like the hub of all activities from every 1st of December, and it runs throughout the December calendar month.

However, two dates are paramount and I am desiring each year to see it fall within a Thursday and Friday date. These two dates are the 25th and 26th of December, which represents Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Therefore, having these two days fall on those mentioned days of the week makes it a longer holiday for some of us who are public servants and company workers. Those dates are national holidays and resting time with loved ones. They are special moments.

🎄 Do you have expectations, goals, and plans drawn up in this last month of the year to achieve?

I am already putting in plans to make this year's happy moment a complete one. This has always been the plan's ability so as not to be taken by surprise. This year's celebration will be enjoyed, despite the rising costs of goods and services.

My family.is already gearing up to put things together as they anticipate traveling. They are most likely traveling so the kids can see Grandpa and other relatives. It is always a time of honor having most people around during this period.

🎄 How is a Christmas day traditionally in your home? What do they usually do: eat, drink, etc?

I started experiencing Christmas right from my early childhood days. We thought that Christmas should always represent love. A time to show love to your neighbors by gifting to them. Not because you have all of the resources but as a sign of great felicitation and love.

I could remember when my mom would go from one neighbor to another, giving them a full plate of cooked rice, chicken, and drinks.on Christmas day. This was to make sure that everyone doesn't miss eating, especially on a day we celebrate the birth of our savior.

Christmas Day celebration also goes with a church service in the morning, and thereafter, we all go home to make merry. It is a day of love, a day to celebrate our Lord's Saviour, a day to set aside every wrongdoing and embrace peace, etc.
