The morning dawned bright on the school playground. The big blue sky was full of little flags waving in the wind. In the schoolyard, the pink bougainvillea flowers bloom excellently as if they were welcoming every next activity. I stopped to bask in the sight a moment, the cool morning air invigorating me to go on with my works

In the school yard some school boys in their blue was seen undertaking their activities. Some were walking slowly, other were talking with their friends, while others seemed busy getting ready for various activities. It was festive and controlled at the same time. With pride and joy I looked on, for the beautiful, orderly school was a comfort to all who visited it. This view was also a moral that cleanliness and prettiness whets learning and working enthusiasm.

Having done some schoolwork, I proceeded in my day to my favorite place near the rice paddies. The place was cool, comforting, and the wooden chairs and tables were arranged neatly as they faced the rice paddies. In the breeze came the special natural smell that made my head lighter. I sat idly enjoying the scene, many around me unwinding, talking or spending some moments in solitude.

In that place, I could relax after the activities of the morning. The vastness of the green rice fields, surrounding rows of coconut trees, and the sky painting color strokes as the afternoon was getting closer gave a sense of calmness. I just took this time to think, be thankful for every chance, and what I was going to do next. It was as if time had slowed down and invited me to appreciate every single second.

Just before nightfall, I caught the moment. With the traditional buildings and the golden sky behind them, the mood was cozy and rustic. The reserved, cool heads of my dramatis personae are an accurate reflection of what I felt at that moment, realising, perhaps for the first time, that life did not always have to be a frantic rush. We all need to stop once in a while, look around us and enjoy the little things we are often too busy to notice.
