Biking is Fun

Biking is fun, and I discovered just how much when I started riding regularly in the park in front of my house when I was 8 and the fun part is that the bile I used ride was too big and borrowed from a junior of my father .

At first, it was just a way to move my legs and get some fresh air even when I couldn't not reach on the seat, but managed to ride somehow.

Slowly it became a small daily ritual that I began to look forward to. The moment my feet press down on the pedals and the cycle begins to roll, there is a light, childlike excitement that wakes up inside me and that is true even in this age.

The park itself adds to the joy. It is not a huge place, but it has a neat pathway that circles the grass, trees, and flower beds. There is no fixed time for my biking but it could be early in the morning, when the sun is still rising, noon when the path looks golden.

As I ride, I feel the cool breeze on my face, and the sound of metro becomes background music. Sometimes, I pass walkers who give a quick nod or a smile, and it feels like we all silently agree that this is the best time of the day.

Biking also gives me a sense of freedom. I am not stuck in traffic, not checking my phone, not thinking of deadlines which in any case I am doing no more since I am no more in a job.

I am just moving, turning, breathing. With every round of the park. There is also a simple satisfaction in noticing small things from the cycle seat, the flowers blooming, trees swaying in wind. All these little scenes make the park feel alive.

Biking there is not just exercise for my body but it is a refresh button for my mind.
