"Polcenigo, where only the shops remain to recall a glorious past!"
Hello fellow travelers, I'm always delighted to share my explorations here in the community, and today I want to talk about an urban exploration of a place located in the province of Pordenone in Friuli Venezia Giulia called Polcenigo. It's one of those beautiful places that you come across almost by chance; in fact, I was in the area for a Sunday outing, but then I stumbled upon this place that I really liked. Polcenigo is a small municipality, as I mentioned, but wandering through its streets feels like stepping back in time. Once inhabited by many people, it is unfortunately experiencing depopulation, which is affecting similar villages. As I ventured through the streets of this place, I hardly found anyone. It was early afternoon, and perhaps many people were indoors, but I was struck by the fact that you can still see the ancient shops that were once the heart of this place. These were probably businesses that have closed over time, and it's a real shame to have lost these bastions of craftsmanship. Nowadays, there are only about 5000 inhabitants here, but I must say that the place is set in a beautiful hilly landscape surrounded by stunning natural scenery between the Livenza River and the natural reserve of the Friulian Dolomites Park. Exploring these streets is definitely delving into the traditions of these places, but how beautiful are these narrow and picturesque streets, these ancient buildings that rise in the historic center? I recommend visiting this place if you come to Italy because it's only by visiting these places that you can understand the traditions, but above all, take a step back into history. Moreover, I discovered that this place is famous for mineral water production because there are springs that come from the Dolomites. These places are very beautiful and interesting because they manage to combine art and nature, as well as the history that always remains important. I hope you enjoyed the photos I shared. Anche il Friuli mi pare un'ottima regione per viverci (anche se il Trentino è più in grado di trarre profitto dalla sua autonomia). È ancora un'idea mezzo campata in aria, ma se qua diventa sempre più invivibile, penserei al prossimo concorso scuola per un posto proprio lì. Salute permettendo.
Sì ci sono tanti bellissimi posti dove vivere in Italia però anche Bisogna considerare il degrado sociale in cui questo paese sta andando incontro e quindi secondo me bisogna fare le giuste valutazioni, sicuramente ci sono paesi in via di sviluppo che sono messi molto peggio, però anche in Italia ci sono tanti problemi ultimamente
Parecchio dipenderà, oltre che dal mio stato di salute (che potrebbe impedirmi i viaggi aerei), dalle prossime elezioni nel mio paese. L'attuale governo sembra voler trasformare il paese in una Corea del nord gigantesca e allora mi risulterebbe pressochè impossibile di lavorare. C'è da sperare che venga votato il candidato di destra ritenuto ideale, che ha illustrato buoni progetti, ma soprattutto le destre per ideologia non praticano politiche d'isolamento dal resto del mondo. Ovviamente sceglierei una regione autonoma che sa fare buon uso della sua autonomia. La mia prima scelta sarebbe stata ovviamente il Trentino, ma Bolzano richiede una residenza di almeno 10 anni per partecipare al concorso scuola. Se Trento non richiedesse altrettanto, opterei. Ma come dicevo, sono ancora ipotesi campate in aria. So di non poter prendere una decisione di tal portata a cuor leggero. Fosse per me, non è che tornerei in Italia (ma diciamo che per la verità, il mio storcere il naso al pensiero del rimpatrio è legato al Piemonte, dove ci si sta molto peggio che nel sud del mondo). Sceglierei l'Australia a occhi chiusi, ma purtroppo non mi convaliderebbero la laurea da insegnante perchè i vecchi curriculum qui la prevedevano triennale (da non confondere con le triennali italiane: tutti gli esami, parecchi per la verità, più le pratiche scolastiche, erano ammucchiate in un più breve lasso di tempo), ma le loro tempistiche minime ne prevedono quattro, di anni.
