A beautiful lavender field!!

Today in this post, I wanted to share with you some photos I took a few days ago when I went for a stroll in the Euganean Hills, hills located a few kilometers from my home. Almost by chance, I discovered this lavender field, a trend that has been spreading in Italy for quite some time. But did you know that this also benefits the environment? Lavender fields are crucial for bees' survival, and we know how important bees are for our own survival too.

It was a pleasant surprise to stumble upon this field. It was quite hidden and not easy to find, but I noticed it because the scent was so inviting.

Most likely, many of these flowers, which I discovered are in bloom right now, are used to create soap, cosmetics, or even home fragrances.
Moreover, it seems that there are enormous benefits from the lavender plant. For example, its aroma has calming properties and helps reduce anxiety, making it suitable for people suffering from stress. In fact, the oil extracted from lavender is used specifically for relaxation.

Additionally, it appears that the essential oil derived from the lavender plant has anti-inflammatory properties. Someone told me they used it for irritations and swelling, and it worked wonders. I think it's great to use something natural rather than chemical medications.
Unfortunately, I didn't find anyone tending to this field, as I wanted to understand how much one could earn from it, especially since it has become a widespread business in Italy lately.
