Dear friends, today I will talk to you about a place. You could call it a riverside spot or a riverbank. This place has an extremely beautiful natural environment along the river. To be honest, calling it a riverbank wouldn’t be accurate because it’s actually a path in the middle of the river where the receding water has formed a small sandbar. At this precise moment, going to the middle of the river and enjoying the beautiful moments there is truly wonderful, and that’s why I want to share this place with you.

The name of this place is Pakuri, which means in the middle of the river. Earlier, these spots used to be local places with different names. But day by day, as the water level rises and river erosion starts, these areas have become river-centric. Later, when the water decreases, at the start of summer, after winter ends, the water level goes down. To get to that Pakuri spot, you have to come directly from Bogura district to Sharia Kandi Kalitala Ghat. From there, you have to rent any boat to reach the place, just like we went.

That place you can see ahead, right in front of the boat, that’s where we will get down, and once we get down there, my colleagues will take a bath there. There’s a little river island in the middle of the river, which makes many people come here to enjoy beautiful moments surrounded by nature with rivers and streams all around. Because of this, it looks much more beautiful, which is why you can come to this place to enjoy some really wonderful moments. If you come here by boat, the boat stops here, and you can enjoy a beautiful time.

If you want, you can come here and bathe, because the people who came with me also took a bath here, so you will get the feeling of bathing in the water. The surroundings have a beautiful atmosphere, so with the river and the waves, you will feel wonderful. Also, the boat that you bring to the river, you can stop there and get the chance to take beautiful photographs. There is no security here, no one will come and disturb you, and you can enjoy your freedom here.

I mentioned at the beginning that most people who come here usually come to take a bath because the environment here is natural and there’s no chaos or disorder. And that’s why one can have a peaceful bath here and hang out with friends. I came for that reason too, although I didn’t bathe, but the students who came with me did, and they said it was a lot of fun.
