Cittadella - Padua

Hi, after some time I visited Cittadella again, a beautiful village located in Veneto, a small fortified town that still fascinates with its beauty.
And as you can see from the first photo and the many cars present, it is very popular with tourists, all year round, not just during the Christmas period.

I dressed warmly because I thought it would be cold, but instead, in this crazy December, it's a good 12 degrees Celsius, too warm for the time of year, even though they say snow is coming.
Anyway, returning to Cittadella, you can visit it completely free of charge, but I know there is a single ticket to climb the medieval walls; I'll leave a useful link below.

I read something about this village and I want to share it with you. The village was founded in 1220 because they wanted to establish something strategically important here, as an important road passed through this area. Later, it came under the rule of the Republic of Venice.
The walls are almost 15 kilometers long and about twenty meters high.

I hope that one day you too will be able to visit this place, which is truly worth seeing. Besides, it's easily accessible by train, even from Venice, so I'd say it's very convenient.
