The snow-covered Lake Carezza is a spectacle

Hi friends, today I want to talk to you about Lake Carezza, a few days ago I passed by this place because I went skiing in the area and so I wanted to see this beautiful and quite incredible place from a naturalistic point of view, but unfortunately I saw practically nothing of the lake because it was completely covered in snow, and for the first time there was practically no one.

Lake Carezza is a practically Alpine lake located in the Dolomites and is very beautiful to see especially in summer because its waters become emerald green and attract people from practically all over the world.

As you can see the lake is completely frozen and covered in snow.

It is located about 1500 meters above sea level and we are about 25 km from Bolzano. I reached it by car along the road that passes near the Costalunga Pass and practically there would be the possibility of doing a short circular route around the lake that lasts about 30 minutes and offers beautiful panoramic views but in reality I didn't have time to do it because I was in a hurry to get home.

I recommend that you dress warmly in winter because it's really cold around here. However, the lake is fed by underground springs and isn't very big, although in spring, when the snow melts, it's quite deep, reaching about six meters, which is quite a lot for an alpine lake.

The mountains surrounding this place are truly impressive.
