I love to travel which gives me peace of mind. So I went to visit a beautiful water park after taking a break from my daily routine. I have visited this park before but then the construction was not complete but this time all parts of the park were opened on the occasion of Eid.

Blue Water Lake. It is located in Kotbari area of Comilla district which is in a peaceful environment between town and village. A ticket is required to enter here, the price of which varies from Tk 100 to Tk 450 depending on the rides. I bought the ticket for *150 BDT/1.37 USD$ which included a free ride. Before starting the details, let me first show you some pictures of the place.

This park is named for its special water pool which was not included with my ticket as I did not prepare to enter the water pool that day. I spent very little time in the park but I spent every minute there with great joy and fun. Let me share with you some interesting things about the place .

First of all, when a tourist comes to this park for the first time, he will be impressed by the calm environment here. Although it is not big in size, but it is a good place to enjoy in less time. The statues of animals placed at different points can attract the attention of any tourist. Each idol was set up in a interesting way with some fun activities, which you can understand by looking at the pictures below.

I especially found the statue of the monkey playing the guitar quite amusing. Since this is a fantasy park, it means that there will be different types of rides. But unfortunately there are very limited number of rides here and due to the gradual increase in its popularity, now some rides have been increased more than before.

Notable rides here include boat rides, roller coasters, trains, swings, etc. Moreover, there are some other rides which are specially for children. I got a free boat ride with my ticket. The boats were in the shape of a duck. I took a boat ride on the lake for about 20 minutes.

I found the ride quite enjoyable. One thing I like about this park is that they take great care of nature and there are numerous trees and flower gardens throughout the area. This park can be a good choice to enjoy with family, friends, loved ones.

Let me share with you some incidents of my visit. I saw a mermaid there but it was artificial. Surrounding the mermaid was a small pool of water that contained a variety of colorful fish. I took fish food from a man working there and fed them. Below I am sharing some pictures of the scene.

When I threw the fish food into the water they came running towards me and it was quite a peaceful sight to see these colorful fishes jumping. These fish are especially seen in the aquarium. It was very satisfying to feed them.

I have tried to highlight the entire park except the water pool. If there is a chance, I will definitely take the water pool in the next visit. Before leaving the park, I swung for a while on the tourist swings. It is a good place to find peace.

Investing time and money in travel pays manifold returns in mental peace.
