Previously, I was very grateful to my friends who had appreciated my previous post, and I was very grateful to the community admin who was ready to give permission to post in this community. We, the ILCC cadres, held a workshop event as a community body to discuss the environment and invited extraordinary presenters such as the head of the DLHK department and seniors from the NGO Bytra and last but not least, we also invited students who are building community associations in their respective sub-districts. around North Aceh-Lhokseumawe and I will summarize some of the main activities below.
A total of 50 participants from various circles gathered in a workshop entitled "Active Role in Environmental Conservation and Utilization of the Span Report Application" which was held at the Village Hall on Saturday, June 10 2024. This activity aims to increase awareness and active community participation. society in overcoming these problems. environment such as illegal logging, careless dumping of rubbish, and flooding. This workshop was opened by the Chair of the Committee, Mr. Rahmat Hidayat, who conveyed the importance of the role of each individual in protecting the environment. “We all have a responsibility to protect the nature around us. "With the right knowledge and existing technology, we can make positive changes," he said. In the first session, participants received an explanation of the negative impacts of illegal logging, careless waste disposal and flooding. The discussion, which was guided by Mrs. Wulan Sari, an environmental activist, gathered many stories and experiences from the participants regarding these problems in their respective regions. The highlight of this workshop was the introduction of the Span Report Application, an innovative application that allows the public to report illegal activities that damage the environment easily and quickly. "This application is designed to make it easier for the public to report actions that are detrimental to the environment, from illegal logging to littering," explained Mrs. Wulan. The participants looked enthusiastic when demonstrating the use of the application. They learn how to download, register, as well as steps to report illegal activity. “This application is very helpful. "With one click we can report incidents that damage the environment around us," said one of the participants, Mr. Ahmad. The group work session is an important moment for participants to discuss and design reporting strategies and actions that can be carried out in their communities. The results of this discussion were then presented, providing many ideas and inspiration for all those present. At the end of the event, the participants prepared action plans that would be implemented in their respective environments. It is hoped that this workshop can be the first step for society to be more active in protecting the environment and utilizing technology to overcome illegal activities. The workshop closed with a message of hope from the facilitator and a group photo. "Hopefully with the Span Report application it will be easier for all of us to report and handle activities that damage the environment. "Let's work together to protect our earth," concluded Mr. Rahmat Hidayat. With this workshop, communities now have the right knowledge and tools to protect their environment. The hope is that similar activities can continue to be carried out to create a clean and safe environment for future generations.
