The Diary Game | 29th December, 2023 | Year end trip Day 02

It was the second day of our Trip. We planned to visit the Ambewela farm, which was just 11 Km away. After having breakfast we headed to the farm. It was too cold and misty that day. We stopped at the Kande Ela Reservoir to enjoy the beautiful, misty, and cold surroundings. It was such a stunning and calm place to enjoy nature peacefully.

The road to Ambewala farm was incredibly beautiful with the cold climate. It was my first time experiencing such a cold and foggy climate. Even though the surroundings were covered with mist, it still felt amazing, I enjoyed the drive to the farm very much.

It started drizzling when we reached the farm. I was a bit worried about carrying little Vihan in this cold climate. But we both did not want to miss the chance to visit the farm. Ambewela is one of the renowned dairy manufacturing companies in Sri Lanka, and I'm glad to have the chance to visit it. We visited all parts of the farm very quickly as it started raining.

On the farm, there was a snack outlet and in there we were able to taste a glass of hot milk. I felt very thankful because something hot was all I wanted after a long tiring walk on the farm.

It was great to learn about the manufacturing process of my favorite diary brand. Next, we planned to visit the Jagro Outlet which was on our way to Ambewela farm. This a place that I don't want to miss visiting whenever I go to Nuwara Eliya. Trying out their delightful strawberry desserts is one of my favorite things to do in Nuwara Eliya.

We didn't forget to bring some fresh strawberries to our loved ones. After visiting Jagro, reluctantly, we had to say goodbye to Beautiful Nuwara Eliya. Being so grateful for all the memories that we created, we headed to our next destination which was the waterfall villas - Talawakelle.

This hotel is situated overlooking the cascading St. Clairs waterfall. We enjoyed our stay very much with the mind-blowing view of the mountains and the waterfall. It was not much cold in Talawakelle as it was in Nuwara Eliya. It was a pleasant stay at the hotel with delicious Sri Lankan meals.
