We want to make this clear from the beginning:
De SteemConnect is not here to compete with other Steem communities.
There are many communities on Steem doing valuable work, and we respect them.
Our purpose is different.
We want to create another space where people can meet, exchange ideas, discover content and support one another.
We don't want to measure our success simply by the number of members we have.
For us, a successful community is one where people feel comfortable participating, where conversations happen, where creators are appreciated, and where members can learn something from each other.
🌱 We Are Starting Small
We don't expect De SteemConnect to become a huge community overnight.
Every community has to start somewhere.
Today, we are simply opening the door and inviting people to come in, introduce themselves and become part of the beginning.
As the community grows, we hope to introduce discussions, community activities, featured content, creative challenges and other initiatives based on what our members actually want.
We want to grow with the community, not simply build it for the community.

My sincere hope is that this becomes a place where Steemians can freely share their ideas, experiences, creativity and knowledge without feeling that they have to compete with anyone. We are starting small, but with the right people and genuine participation, I believe we can build something meaningful together.
