Decorated Places in My City - Colombo
Hello Everyone,
"Christmas isn't a season. It's a feeling." Cheers to these festive days filled with love and laughter. The whole world celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ who brought the message of peace to the world. We enjoy this festive season with a spirit of love getting together with our friends and family sharing the cherished moments.
Everywhere we can see the decorations to welcome the Christmas and the New Year. All the cities are elevated with beautiful lights, decorations and mesmerizing carols. Here in Sri Lanka also already the streets, squares, arcades, shopping malls are shining with essence of beauty with decorations. And the city is full various activities that everyone can enjoy like fun games, exhibitions, food festivals, Christmas carols and etc. Let me share a video of Christmas carols that I participated and a Giant Christmas Tree I captured at One Galleface Mall Sri Lanka
The best part of Christmas is getting together as family and preparing for the festive occasion. In our house my dad and brothers take care of cleaning and painting where as I and my mom share the duty of cooking. And when it comes to decorations, the whole family gets together. Let me show you our beautifully decorated Christmas tree.
Since we have grown up the time has changed and we rarely get to engage in family activities like this except our daily family dinner. Sharing the kitchen with mom learning new recipes and having some mom and daughter time is priceless. And I hope that is same with the boys time with dad and my brothers. And even the evenings I spend with my two siblings is also something interesting, sharing each other's secrets and having some bright laugh together is invaluable.
This is all about how we get ready for Christmas and how my city is decorated. I hope that everyone of you also having your best holidays with your loved ones. La navidad tiene algo especial que nos permite reunirnos en familia para esa gran celebración de que nos nació el salvador de muundo nuestro Señor Jesucristo.
