I have just read a beautiful review of the Comprehensive Medical Care Center of the University of the Andes (CAMIULA) , Mérida, Venezuela.

While it might not be so techy, but the environment gives the feeling that they are dedicated to maintaining it. Hope your friend is doing better now?
