Una nueva semana, un nuevo desafío y le damos gracias a Dios por permitirnos compartir con ustedes en la temporada 12, y deseamos semanas tras semanas poder brindarles desafíos donde podamos compartir, tales como la Suerte, Un llamado a la consciencia y así que sin más preámbulos les presento el desafío de esta semana.

La vida es corta y pasa muy rápido; en ocasiones tenemos oportunidades únicas e irrepetibles con personas que de alguna forma nos impactan, pero pese a eso no nos tomamos el tiempo para mostrar un poco de atención.

La EMPATÍA es un término amplio, el cual nos lleva a ponernos en el lugar del otro, tratando de entender su situación e intentar ver como esa persona ve. Como seres humanos debemos de mostrar empatía con los que tenemos a nuestro alrededor, no necesariamente tener un familiar o amigo enfermo o en apuro para ser empático. Se debe practicar a diario para que forme parte de nuestro estilo de vida.

Es un tiempo donde se requiere pensar en el prójimo y tenderle la mano si es posible. La propuesta para esta semana es compartir sobre un Gesto de Amor…, es decir, prestar nuestros oídos para escuchar a otros, dar un consejo a alguien que lo necesite, ponerme en el lugar del otro sin juzgarle, sentir la carencia o el problema del otro como propia, mirar a los ojos a alguien que está sufriendo y no sabe qué hacer, etc.

Comparto una pequeña experiencia, en mi trabajo un proveedor de servicio me dice por teléfono, que tiene algunos problemitas y que no puede ir a resolver la situación, sino la próxima semana. Yo le contesté que estaba bien y le envié un versículo de la Biblia para animarlo a confiar en Dios. Hablamos un poco y al final me dio las gracias llamándome Amiga. Creo que con el sencillo hecho de tomarme el tiempo, de enviarle algunos mensajes de aliento, cambió un poco su ánimo y de eso se trata, ser persona de bendición.

Pautas del concurso

• Publique sus artículos en la comunidad Reflexiones de Vida. El tiempo de participación es entre el lunes 18 de septiembre de 2023 a las 00:00 UTC y el domingo 24 de septiembre de 2023 a las 23:59 UTC.

Life is short and passes by very quickly; Sometimes we have unique and unrepeatable opportunities with people who impact us in some way, but despite that we do not take the time to show little attention.

EMPATHY is a broad term, which leads us to put ourselves in the other person's skin, trying to understand their situation and to see how that person sees. As human beings we must show empathy with those around us, not necessarily having a family member or friend who is sick or in trouble to be empathetic. It must be practiced daily to become part of our lifestyle.

It is a time when it is necessary to think about our neighbors and reach out to them if possible. The proposal for this week is to share about a Gesture of Love..., that is, to lend our ears to listen to others, to give advice to someone who needs it, to put myself in the other's place without judging them, feeling the lack or problem of the other as your own, looking into the eyes of someone who is suffering and doesn't know what to do, etc.

I share a small experience, at my work a service provider tells me on the phone that he has some problems and that he cannot come to resolve the situation until next week. I replied that it was fine and sent him a Bible verse to encourage him to trust in God. We talked a little and at the end he thanked me by calling me Friend. I think that with the simple act of taking the time of sending him some messages of encouragement, his mood changed a little and that's what it's all about, being a person of blessing.
