A Few Words For || My Sweet Mother

Her smiles so beautiful, it makes my heart warm and happy. My Mom is beautiful and people say I am a spitting image of her, well I don't know about that. But what would we do without our mothers?

Mothers were created with a mixture of compassion and love, an embodiment of great care, kindness and hospitality. You can't write about love without mentioning the love of a mother. I could go on and on to put into writing the love a mother has for her kids.

Just like the mother hen, they protect their children from danger, feeds them without even thinking if they themselves are well fed, provides shelter and warmth even in the coldest of nights, cries when their children are in danger and do everything in their power to see them grow.

I hope and pray we all experience the love of a mother. This is a write up for a special woman who has been a role model, a light and a kind person.

Growing up, I thought my Mom had no flaws, this was because of how perfect she was when I was younger. When I became older, I realise that she had flaws but this even made her more perfect and special for me. This is because even in the midst of these flaws, she still showed us love and care. This is my story about my Mom...

My Dad told me stories about me when I was a baby and the story goes thus;

He told me that when I was a baby, I became very ill and in the night, I had seizures which almost took my life. My mom who was with me through out the time was looking for any help that could come my way. She didn't find any, as there was no health center close by. When the seizures began, she didn't know what to do..my teeth were joining and I had convulsions. Mom had to sacrifice her finger since she didn't have a spoon close to keep my teeth apart. The force from the convulsion, clamp my teeth on her finger and it injured her deeply. But still with the pains, she kept her fingers there to avoid my teeth joining. She did that until she called for help and dad brought a spoon to free her finger.

She had a very deep cut on her finger but all she could think about was me. I was rushed to the hospital and the illness was diagnosed.
Well that was the beginning of a mother-son relationship that would turn out to be very special.

My mom has been a symbol of love in my life, she has shown me what love truly is. She's made sure I got the good things in life. I will never forget how she takes her time to discipline me when I am wrong. This is the best training she has given to me. Making sure that I live a good life.

Even when she didn't have enough finances with dad, she made sure I didn't stay back from school. I have never stayed back from school because my mom knew the importance of education. Like she used to say, education will make you sit before kings and queens to speak.
She gave me hope when I had lost hope of everything and most importantly she taught me the word of God.

I have learnt a lot from her, as she always wanted the best for me. She taught me how to cook and wash my clothes, how I can become the best husband and father. This takes a lot of work to do and that is why I always say that my mom is special.

She plays with me, prays with me and for me. I have seen her cry for me. That was the most emotional day of my life. Seeing my mom crying broke me and I promised myself to be the best for her. The tears of a mother is a very powerful one. The tears comes out with so much love, compassion and empathy. I love my mom very much for all she has done for me.

My mom is my angel, my sweet mother, the woman of my heart and a special force in my life.

I have seen her struggle, I have seen her cry, I have seen her sad, I have seen her smile, I have seen her in joy and happiness and I have seen her being proud of me.
.nothing gladdens my heart than seeing my mom being proud of me.
Her smiles are always special to me, her specialty in preparing dishes are second to none and her hospitality us top tier. I do my best to learn how to give from her.

Every Good mother is special and my mom is always close to my heart. She is my Sweet Mother.
