Remembrance Sunday // The Old Rugged Cross At Communion.

I want share with my partake in choir section during communion service. And we the choirester sang one of the solemn song

Today's service was great because we had our communion today. One special thing about today was sweetness the choir members gave in during communion.

The Old Rugged Cross was the choir piece for that moment though we sang many songs but this one was so intense. It's more solemn and quiet. It makes you think about faith and sacrifice.

Me and the other choir members sang this together. We wanted to sing it with respect and care. The song is about the cross about what Jesus did for us. Every word matters. Every note matters.

Standing there with the other singers I could feel something real. This wasn't just singing a song. We were telling a story about faith and love. Only the choirester voice and the keyboard were rending powerful music to God in heaven

The Old Rugged Cross is song that has been sung in the church for years now for a very long time. People loved it because it speaks about sacrifice love and faith. When you sing it you're part of something bigger than yourself.

The words say: "On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross..." And that's what communion is about. Remembering that cross. Remembering what it means.
