The Lapu-Lapu City teachers, government employees, public and private sector come together and walk with the melody of the xylophone and drums to kick off the much awaited biggest fiesta in town- the Opon Fiesta. Teachers and staff were wearing colorful shirts with their sunvisor and balloons with them to show unity.

And the last in line were these pretty finalist of Little Miss Princess of Lapu-Lapu, Miss Lapu-Lapu, Mrs. Lapu-Lapu and Ms. Gay of Lapu-Lapu. As they passed on the crowd, they waved as they were in their car. They looked so cute and amazing.

Before we started our parade, we gathered first in one venue which was the Lapu-Lapu City Central School, we waited around 12:30 noon then started the parade.

We walked around 3 km I guess, but since my bp is still under monitor, I asked our dear principal to just render a short walk and went home. So glad that she allowed me to do that because Health is Wealth.

Unfortunately, after half an hour of walking, heavy rain falls so everyone find a safe place and some went home or get inside the mall. I am not sure if there were somebody who really sacrificed the rain and continue walking, but I guess there's none because of the heavy rain. Some get sad and some were happy because of the rain.
