Last Sunday was my wife‘s birthday but I was scheduled to work so we couldn't spend time together that. So, the day before, we went out for dinner at Singapore Recreation Club. Still bit rainy days so she was happy with the spicy laksa.

I opted for the chicken biryani which comes with some spicy curry as well and quite a big portion of rice.

After that, we shared this brownie with vanilla ice cream. The cherry went to the lady.

Took a walk aside. I wanted to check out the City Hall setup for the National Day Parade although there wasn't going to be any live audience this year and we a picture to record our presence.

While we we out, there was this surprise delivery for my wife to the inlaws place.

但我没在外时，太太有份惊喜送到她娘家。

When we went back, I tried on of the chocolate. There is a big problem. They are so good that by the times I went there 2 days later, they are all gone. Only the box of cookies was left. I'm not sure if I get to try the cookies. 😎
